Sometimes (scratch that) ALL TIMES, it's better to do a little research first. You're in the right place - just do a LITTLE reading before you post questions that are as open ended as that.

Welcome to DJTT!
I spin a lot of hip-hop, and I think what helped me the most to learn was listening to how other djs put songs together. Find an internet radio station that does long hip-hop mixes and pay attention to how the dj mixes in and out of the songs.
If you need help learning basic techniques, like how to beatmatch and use effects between tracks, dig around here! There are lots of great articles to get you started. Then you can come back to the forums with more specific questions that we can help you with!
