Default Best controller for traktor with 4 decks

Looking to spend $1100 today or tomorrow on a 4 deck tractor controller with flight case.

The gear must have professional outputs, like xlr or balanced trs. It must have replaceable crossfader. I am leaning towards the 4trak but afraid it will be buggy and glitchy. Interested in the VCI 400 but it just seems so foreign to me having used the v7s and dispute their limitations I liked them.

Honestly though, all in one controller for four decks leaves you the S4, simple as that.

Doesn't the VCI 400 or the 4trak do 4 decks or am I mistaken? They both seem like they have better outputs and sound than the s4...

After 2 years (or so) I still Love my S4, love it's size, workflow, how each control is spaced from each other.

VCI400 could be my second choice then Denon MC6000. Only downside of both previous, they're not scratch certified (no big deal for most). MC6000 is too crampy to my taste.

Seems like you already have your mind made up, and you're just looking for people to affirm your decision.

Mind not entirely made up. Stuck between vci-400 and 4trak

What does scratch certified mean? What is the difference in the way the jog wheels respond compared to the v7? I found that I'm not good at scratching and it's not really needed, people want a slick mix rather than scratching, and I've never used vinyl before until I got the V7 virtual vinyl. I'm finding I just bought the wrong machine. I want four decks and all in one. Quick question off topic, does tractor import itunes playlists? That's how I keep my stuff organized.
