Default Pioneer controllers and volume faders

I recently used an SX2 at a gig and well it sure beat the hell out of my controller, the faders were extremely stiff!!! I like to be quick back and forth with the faders and it messed me up a few times not expecting to have to actually use muscle to bring the volume faders up. I noticed this with the SZ although not quite as bad. Is there a fix for this? I love the controller but it's REALLY off putting for me and making me second guess it. Tips? Advice?

I guess you can open up the controller and either service them with some lubricant(or just clean them), or replace them fully.

But dunno, I actually like a little bit stiffer volume faders, for more accurate control. For quick cuts there is the crossfader, which is usually quite loose and easy to slap around

i find using the crossfader for quick cuts can be difficult for accuracy. also sometimes the mixers are set up weird with the cross fade but i can always depend on volume faders
