Default Making a mix more exciting

    Hello,

I am new to dj'ing and i got beatmatching down pretty well......however my mixes just sound as such, songs linked together. I was wondering what do the people on DJ Techtools do to make their mixes more exciting

Throw some one-shot samples and get creative with mashups.

yeah, mashup the tracks you got. i dont know what kind of genre you're spinning, but i sometimes just put a know electro vocal (eg justices dance) over another beat and start mashing (and messing) up these vocals..
