i've only used an actual cdj once and my cd's didn't work right.
i'm playing a festival soon but i'll have to use cdj 1000 mkII's so i was wondering how i should properly burn my cd's

If you want to be sure: Get some good quality CD-R discs (Verbatims are my favourite), burn the tracks in audio CD format, use slow speed (4-8x writing speed) and leave 2s gap between songs. All CDJ-1000 models are really robust for audio CDs, but data CD-R with mp3s can be a bit problematic.
Test the disc after burning in a regular CD-player, check that the first and the last tracks play normally (skip through the last track quickly to see that the track plays normally and is not cut off).
burn as .wav

" I’m the Dude, so that’s what you call me. That or, uh His Dudeness, or uh Duder, or El Duderino, if you’re not into the whole brevity thing. "
use a good quality cdr if you can to help reduce problems also
