The Audio 2 has the same sound power that the Audio 4 and 8 have, but at a fraction of the price due to size. So I would say if you don't need the extra I/O's on the M-audio use the 2.
So except of connections issue i could use the audio2!

Personally I would NOT recommend the Profire 610. I bought mine over a year ago and am still waiting on stable drivers for windows 7. I have been very disappointed in this product and with the support from m-audio. The sound is terrible, unusable without having to purchase a third party product.
See below for details, there are many people having trouble with the product. I was told when purchasing the product that it was compatible with windows 7.
