    Default hotloop length

When i map a hotloop and then let it play it will play at the last set looplength. Is there a way to store the length of a hotloop as well and then change it back to the preset length for a particular loop when i start the loop?
Actually I have an idea of how to map it in my head, but that involves A LOT of modifiers.

You can map a button to set any size loop you want with no modifiers.

What he said. Use button mode 'direct' then choose the value.

Thanks for the replies, however your suggestions are not really the solutions i was looking for. Ill try to explain better:

Is there a way to store an information into a track about how long the loop on a hotcue in loop mode has to be. I mean the hotcue position is stored, the information what kind of hotcue it is is stored, but is the loop length for a loop hotcue stored as an information and can it be recalled?

set a loop of whatever size, while loop is active press an empty hotcue button. Loop stored.

OK, say I change loop length to 4, then store hotcue 1 and make it a loop. Then I change it to 8 and store it as hotloop 2. Now I want traktor to automatically play a 4 bar loop when i activate hotcue 1 and 8 bar loop if i play hotcue 2.
Right now it will play both with a looplength last selected.

make sure you deactivate the first loop before setting the second.

Oh i see now, that means my mapping is somehow wrong.
What would you use to have 8 buttons be 8 hotloops which if you press the first time they get assigned a hotcue and given the status loop and then if pressed a second time it plays a loop from that hotcue with the preselected length. And I should be able to switch between those loops on the fly without having to turn off loop active with another button and then turn it on with the next hotcue.
