Default Mpk preset and conflicting traktor mapping

    Hey everybody,
I just bought an akai MPK mini and burned the editor onto my computer but i plugged it in to start mapping with traktor and the stupid thing does functions that i havent mapped it to. I have been trying to troubleshoot it for over a day now and it turns out that my VCI 100 MKII mapping is the problem. so I deleted it and now i have the issue of conflicting midi channels im not sure what to do cause i need my vci 100 MKII mapping in order to use it. I tried to change the channels of my pads/keys and knobs in the editor (by the way the editor came with no presets. great right?). but i can seem to get my custom preset to function in traktor itself so im stuck with two midi controllers that are conflicting in mapping so doing things i havent mapped their buttons to do. Any advice help i am DJaying a private party here soon and id like to use this MPK i just need to get the presets or figure out how to apply my own preset and solve this extremely irritating problem.

In Traktor go to the controller manager section and check the in and out ports for each controller/mapping are set correctly (not "all ports").

I believe you can use the MPKs controller editor to change the MIDI channel that it transmits on, that should stop any conflicts. I did this with my friends MPK88 with the built in software through the LCD screen and it works great now.

Set the in & out for the mpk mini mapping click on the in and a drop down menu will appear change from all ports to mpk mini do the same with the out port. Then select your vci 100 in the in & out for the vci mapping. you will no longer have any conflicts then.
