Can VCI-400 remember active remix decks when toggling b/t deck modes?

My remix deck always deletes an is blank when I switch back to sample deck mode from track/live deck mode.
Is this normal and/or fixable?
I'm using viper's mapping fwiw.Thanks for the help!

saved right before the Deck Flavor is switched."

sooooooo apparently not unless theres a workaround I dont know about....
