    hi ,been trying to follow the video to alter the mappin in traktor to create the dynamic sweep , when i select effects in control manager i dont have effects chained , i have effects unit ? can anybody talk me through this , what other aspects will i need to change ie : does the device set up stay as tractor default mappin , in port as keyboard ,, out port blank etc ,, also should i be on 2fx units or 4 ,, any help appreciated

    Set four FX units if you want to apply echo-out effect on top of sweep. Add new Generic Device from 'ADD' menu > map in all the commands as in video.

    thanks for the reply stewe ,, ive changed the generic device from the drop down list to the mc3000 that was listed ,, changed fx to 4 units but still dont see fx chained when i go to add-in ,, just have fx unit

    The video you have seen is for Traktor pro but NI have changed mappings for FX units in 2.5 - only one page as you said before. Instead, you can set each command using modifier condition 'FX Unit Mode Selector' group/single.

    They had change it in 2.5 and retained in future versions.

    tks stewe , i say im running v 2.6 but how can i be sure , anyway of checking , i was under the impression 2.6 had macro fx , when i click the drop down box to add effects i only have fx in the list on the right , if u get wot i mean

    If you click on the Traktor Pro logo top left of the software you'll get a pop-up that will tell you what version your on. You can also click help>about. Have you added the new FX to your available list in preferences?

    thanks for the reply ,, i havent added the new fx to available list ,, i wouldnt know were to start to be honest
