Problem with uc 33 traktor and uc Mac os x 10.5.4

Hey guys first i have to say that my english isnt very well but i hope you will understand what my problem is ...

Ive got my new Macbook yesterday....and ive installed Traktor ....i hooked up my uc 33 to my mac.....but in the traktor midi device list i can not see it.
At M-Audio.com is written down that i dont need a driver for this type of controller.

And know some solutions!!!

This may sound stupid but, plug in the device first then start traktor. I know you have to do it in that order on Windows. Not so sure about Mac.
