Ok then, lets talk about music, cause I have been wondering.
I am from Denmark, Europe and listen/play mainly to Techno, Minimal, Tech and Deep. 80-90% of the music played at this scene comes from Euorpe (mainly Germany). Some comes from south america and some from Canada, but very litle comes from US (ofcause theres the Detroit scene witch has "always" been there).
How is it in US? Do you play these genres, and where does the artists come from? Are the european (german) artists popular there?
Well, I'm a bad reference cause I have no idea what it's like in the mainstream. The stuff I spin comes from all over. The industrial/noise artists hail from all over but mainly Canada, the US, Mexico, Brazil, England and Germany. There are some spatterings elsewhere but nothing really from the rest of Europe that's big in the US.
The Hardstyle and Gabber stuff I've been digging up, though, has been from all over the place. I haven't been able to pin anything solid location-wise down yet.
