    Default Haiti Earthquake

I know this isnt dj related, but I hope you guys will read and help out.

As you already know, Haiti was hit with a massive quake. So far the death toll is rising, and without help, it is going to get higher still. Right now there is a need for a variety of supplies to the area, but as of now, that is being delayed until transport can be properly setup. Until such time, donations are being asked for.

To help with relief efforts, text "HAITI" to "90999" and $10 will be given automatically to the Red Cross, charged to your cell phone bill. Or visit InterAction http://www.interaction.org/crisis-list/earthquake-haiti , Doctors without borders https://donate.doctorswithoutborders...?pid=197&hbc=1 ,or, any of the other orgs/ agancies that are working to rescue the citizens of that country.

    Thanks.

Cheers, just made a donation. They expect casualties in the hundreds of thousands.

Also, here is a link for the legit charities. There are a lot of crooks out there looking to exploit this disaster as well as other, so it doesnt hurt to make sure your donations go to the right folks:

I did a quite a bit of research and I'm left with the belief that Direct Relief is the current gold standard for getting the most righteous bang out of your donated buck:

    independent reviews of Direct Relief:

    compare with the Red Cross:
