    Default vinyl recording editing

    Has anyone experience in recording vinyl?
    and do you use tools like a compressor or normalize etc...

    If you want the simpliest way to record a vinyl i reccomend you Audacity. It has interesting features, It's free and as I know It's good. All you have to do is just set perefences, then record something and use effects like normalizer, noise reduction and here you go.

    I Use Audacity, and it works very well for me.
    after that I use Clickrepair to remove vinyl clicks.

    Then I have already a very good wave file,wich i convert to mp3 320 in
    iTunes.
    Is there someone that uses normalize,or other plugins.
    and know how to get the best out of a vinyl recording?
