You should probably go to a doctor mate, if you're not even bending over and it hurts then its worth getting it checked out...
not necessarily anything of significance or worry but its always worth asking a professional. You will get thousands of different opinions on here because not everyone suffering from back ache has the same problems...

I suffer a bit, but that's because my set up is too high at the moment, hopefully going to change it once i move into my house and get things set up properly, mainly lower back for me though.

@sedman - i love it how we have a resident medic within our ranks!

Yeah, back trouble's almost as bad as tinnitus! Definitely raise your gear though, makes a huuge difference..

definitely agree with seeing a doctor but stay away from medicine to fix it. they tend to be pricy and not permanent. chances are you need to work out. even if your in good shape, sometimes you need to work other muscles to balance out. like working your abs to fix lower back problems. this, along with making sure your equipment is at the proper hight should help allot.

I just dance and bounce around a lot while I'm playing. Seems to do the trick.

But yeah, I HATE the stoop. I'm still trying to figure out why so many locations/promoters, etc, think that djs all want to have the gear at like knee level...
