Default Trying to convert a midi device not meant for DJ ing to use on Traktor

    Hi,

I had this curious idea and i am not sure could it work.
I am pretty much a beginner I am using basic midi controller at the moment.

The thing is I have this guitar modeller called the Behringer V Amp 2 which i can connect to my pc via a usb to midi cable
I am wondering is there anyway of setting Vamp 2 up as an extra midi controller for DJing, so as to use the knobs on Vamp 2 for things that arent covered on my main controller. ( Not to be confused with trying to use the built in affects of the Vamp)

Looks like a soundcard rather than a controller, I doubt it sends MIDI data, sorry mate

Some people even use the V-AMP 2 as a remote control for parameters of their DAW or VST instruments, which is more handy than using the mouse alone.

Yeah good spot. I'd feel chagrined but: I've drunk a lot of vodka.
