Default When good DJs go bad...

OK, seeing as I've written in about a thousand threads tonight, I'd thought I'd start one of my own: when good DJs (or producers) go bad, and make an unsound business move, take an unwise new direction, or basically just make an absolute tit out of thenselves.

I've picked an obvious one just to get the ball rolling.

The Tidy Boys, UK purveyors of punishing hard house, were Jive Bunny in a previous life:

True story: I've got a mate who took a Jive Bunny record to one of their weekenders and got them to sign it. They took it very well, apparently.

Not bad, but unfathomable, hiphop's obsession with Phil Collins:

lol now that is comical because I do like the Tidy Boys CD's, then again if your aim is to make money and they did with Jive Bunny i bet they could care less, they must be pretty old though!
