Default OT: Audiosurf (Play to your music!)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-N_-9unbk24

Has anybody here every played it? I've just started and I'm obsessed.
This video isn't particularly good, but the point is you can play with ANY of your songs. Cheesy guitar hero ripoff? Maybe, but YOU pick your songs.
The visuals make it really pretty as well
You can try a demo and do four songs. It's definitely another fun way of interacting with your music.
I've really enjoyed it and felt I should share it.

Had it since it came out on steam. This vid isn't a very good example of how insane this game can get though

Blur - Song 2 is an over played track but on audio surf it's bloody hard Best thing about audio surf has to be that you can use any audio file you have on your computer. No playlists like in guitar hero or whatever.

You could probably play an audio book if it was in mp3 format. Would take a
    while though

Looked a bit confusing. Not sure exactly how this guy got it working on his mac, but if you have nothing better to do give it a go

I tried it out at a friend's a while ago (to Daft Punk, what a coincidence ) and that was really fun. It's like a playable visualizer for your tunes . Just like back then, it costs 9.99€ on Steam, I almost bought it then and still likely would, were I to play the demo some more.

I like to use Audiosurf as a sort of cross-reference for my track productions. It really makes you listen to a song differently. Helps a lot, especially with the arrangement.

I don't use any of those fancy game modes, though. Usually just Mono or whatever that freeride mode is called.
