quitted television long time ago since it's full of crap. i am a internet junkie and will always be, but i usually do something creative or at least learn something while reading. best thing is going out with people or doing sport anyways.

i guess people think it's easier to blame television for their own faults instead of taking responsibilty and exhibiting some self control by turning off the tv when they have projects/studies/lives they should be focusing their energies on.

actually all of these points you are making fun of are true. most people are too lazy or too stupid to choose their own way. they do what everyone does and if you grow up eating mcdonalds garbage sitting on your couch you wull be a fat unmotivated slob. it is mcdonalds and the televisions fault because they make money on these people and supply them with what is bad for them.

May as well start blaming music for drug abuse and ear damage. Music MUST be taxed for its public danger and controlled by a special government office.
While we're on about France thanks to government control their wine industry is not innovative and only caters to a niche market here in the States. California on the other hand does not have state controlled standards and make a variety of wines accepted across a wide (and growing) market.

i dont like myself too much if thats what you're after. also i have several people around me which i love and respect. this isn't about me this is about who is to blame. it's a fact that most people do not question how things are and most people do not change. people are lazy.

would you say that someone who eats crap all day and then suffers from a bad health does that on purpose because he gives a shit about his health? he doesn't know better. he probably grew up like that. if someone supplies him with garbage advertising it as food then he is to blame because he is making money out of other peoples mistakes. theres always someone at the top of the chain making a profit out of your loss. and losing your health is a huge loss, trust me.

i feel like a chain selling food to millions of people has the responsibility to sell them healthy food. you could even say its close to murder if you don't.

I watched them with friends and family. TV can unite people around a common cause (Live Aid, Live8 etc)

As for TV. I dont watch Jeremy Kyle or Dancing On Ice (although my cousin is one of the Pro-Ice Dancers on the show). I just watch stuff that i like.

Like I pointed out, I was talking about how I feel towards TV on my own personal level at the moment, how you feel is totally up to you. I'm not trying to oppress my opinions on to anyone like they are fact or anything, I am mearly expressing my thoughts.
And no I didn't go to Eton, I haven't even been to uni. I'm just a London kid. I don't exactly speak the queens English which highlights the fact that if a regular London boy notices how bad the English language is on TV then something must be wrong with the direction the language is going.
