    Hi all,

Can anyone report on those cd repair things that buff scratches out of damaged cds. Do they actually work or are they a con?

I wouldn't, I once had a Skip DR. and it made my CDs worse by buffing "iris" like markings into the CD. I'd look for a service which specializes in it, or something a bit more reliable.

i had one, way back when, as long as you put enough of the lube stuff you get with them on it, they work pretty good

All I have to do is play music, and make sure it is fist pumpin material.
