Oh (and sorry for the thread Hijack Carl, hope it's not treading on your toes) if anyone else can't commit to 2hrs a week, you can do fortnightly or monthly shows or even a one off themed show on Purple Radio.

    PM me if you're interested.

I'm interested as long as I can just record the mix end send it in, no need to mess around with the shoutcast deal

No, but a club is paying $600 a night, so unless I missed something and these guys are paying their DJ's I don't see the difference in me spending two hours recording a mix when I have the time vs some playing it live through shoutcast.

You're welcome to record a mix and send it to us and we'll put it on the rotation system for when no one is DJing!

I've also changed the requirements a bit!

Not worth the effort then, and I think you'll be hard pressed to find quality DJ's who will work like this as well

It is a community based radio so I'm not expecting the very highest of DJing standards, it's just a bit of fun and something to do, a bit of practice, what ever you'd like to call it.

I'm not making any money from it myself (infact its putting me out of pocket) but I'm doing it because I enjoy it and it gives me something to do in my spare time.

Hope this gives you a bit more of an insight with station Nephew.

    Carl.
