We talk about all these backup ideas, but to have a few gigs of songs, Traktor, and just plug your audio interface and MIDI controller in... boot up in about 20 seconds... for $400... it's not much more than a cheap CD rig.

Might be nice, I am not too sure about the single core Atom N270 processor and RAM memory (512Mb) though.
(Would be better if it was an Atom 300 or an Atom 330, as that these are the dual core variants.

yeah, but as a backup solution, or just something to wander around with and test stuff with it's not that bad.
