sorry for digging out this old thread, but i'm planning on syncing two traktor pro (one mac with a firebox, one winXP /w an audio4) and there's no real answer in this (except the one of denisps2, but he's not explaing how he did it).

would a crossover cable and ipmidi work or is there another option??

it takes time to get it perfect, but it works and only needs done once. we use a dual traktor setup for every gig

Hello guys
I found this old thread so I'm adding my questions to this one, I hope it's OK.
I would like to DJing with a friend and I've been thinking of syncing our two macbook pro with Traktor 2 (one Pro and one Scratch Pro) together.
I have a Traktor S4 and my friend a reloop digital jockey 2 master edition.
I had two ideas :
- if I put his controller in my Midi thru in the S4 what is going to happen ? Can I use my 4 decks ? And will be able to pre-listen my music through his headphone on his controller and vice-versa ?
- Or is better to sync our two Traktor System and connect either our controllers with a MIDI DIN cable or our macbook pro through an ethernet cable ? Can we still use our 4 decks each and pre-listen to the music of the other one ?
A last question : I have on my monitors speakers two entries, one RCA and a symetric Jack.
If I plug my S4 through Jack and his reloop with RCA, can we hear both musics out of the speakers ?
