Whats your Latency and Sample Rate settings?
Whats your Keylock Settings for Quality and Mode?

    K
Latency is on 4.0. High quality and normal mode. Should this make a difference tho if key lock is off?

I'm not spinning it excessively hard. You know when you hear any old DJ do it, that's how hard I'm doing it. It's a pretty standard thing to do. It doesnt do it every time, but it does it too frequently for my liking. Wouldnt be able to confidently do it to a crowd, and that kinda shit goes down well well you're cutting it up

Odd. Is it that frequent that you could catch it on video ?

Are you sure that the needle isnt lifting a tad.
Traktors tracking is absolutely the best of any DVS by far. Its one of the most highly regarded aspects by the users.

I suppose really heavy back spinning could be problematic for tracking but like i say i havent noticed it although i dont back spin much.

Ill give it a go when im home.

Erm, I'll see what I can do about the vid. Only got a mobile phone cam so I'll see if I can get something together. I know the needles arent lifting, even if they were jumping up that wouldnt matter, that shit happens with vinyl if done too hard and you can still get the desired effect. This is lasting literally like the length of the spin back. It's too long without any sound for the needle to be off the record. It's impossible for the needles to be floating off the record for that long. Like I said before, I am using M447's which stick like glue and are probably the heaviest carts out there.

I find it happens when I do a spin back just out of the blue, then it wont do it again if I keep doing spin backs to test if its still doing it, its like traktor has realised what I am doing, then if I dont do it for a while it will do it again. But I dont do it THAT often, so when I do do it the problem occurs as its as if Traktor has fallen asleep on that front.. if you get what I am saying

Yeah those guys are the best.

@dodge , it could be a cache thing. Maybe Traktor just isnt catching up quick enough. The new cache system doesnt allow user control like it used to.
To be honest im just guessing really.

Ill ask someone who will know more about the nuts and bolts of whats involved with the software when you do a spinback suddenly (all spinbacks are sudden though doh)...
