Default Anyone mixing 4 decks but NOT minimal or tech?

Just wondering if anyone is mixing with 4 decks with tracks that are more definite than your usual minimal/tech stuff? Basically what I want to know is is anyone mixing tracks where you can tell a new tune has dropped, as opposed to long mixes swimming in FX where you can't tell one tune from another?
Is anyone actually mixing anything but house with 4 decks?

    Just interested to know.

    Peace

That's 4 decks is it? Only the title of the video says 2 decks???
Cool mix all the same, one thing I would say is you should find something that enables you to not have to keep touching the laptop, just my personal opinion.

Anyone doing 4 decks with anything other than house? Hip Hop, DnB etc??

full title is 2 decks and 2 samplers (using c and d as a 2 channel sampler) so using all 4 decks, just titled it that way

dnb would be simple enough to do i reckon, have to get some dnb and try it

Is this in Traktor? How do you use decks as samplers?

back on my traktor 3 map, just used the effects bit of the vci to do basic controls of c and d, and used the duplicate function to copy (or 'sample ) a deck.

use the same layout in Tpro

the decks make up the foundation of the 'sampler', similar to the sampler in the djtt tsi is done with the slicer

I mix electro/ hip hop and I mostly mix 2 decks, and tend to add in a third for quick mixes or loops. I don't know if its my skill level or my genre but never mix all 4.

Quality mixing! But I think he was after examples of genres other than house...

I sometimes use 4 decks only playing 3 of them at a time though with dubstep, utilizing the 3rd deck to run a loop and loading up/prepare deck 4, still trying to create the best work flow that suits me.

Currently using my arcaded VCI 100, but seeking a better alternative as this isn't really fulfilling my needs
