Default Just getting started, and could use some help.

Im just getting started with DJ'ing and I had a couple of questions. I just purchased a pair of the Numark TT200's and the Numark DM1002MKII Mixer. I am getting so many different opinions about what I need next. I want to use music from my computer, so could someone let me know what direction I should go. Thanks in advance

hey from what you have already, and from what you would like to do in regards to grabbing music from your computer, i would suggest you get either serato scratch live, or traktor scratch, depending on the software you want to use. although if you're going to go with traktor scratch, you should wait until they release traktor scratch pro, which is coming out on november 1st.

I would definitely say go with either Traktor Scratch Pro or Serato. Most, but not all, of the members here are pretty serious Traktor users, myself included. You can see on this thread a lot of our debates regarding the two different wares.

What it pretty much comes down to in the end is your preference on the GUI and the controls. The best bet is to go to a Guitar Center and ask to demo them each and see which one works for your brain better.
