question: M-audio quattro

hi everybody,

i've just got my m-audio quattro, and i've got a bit of a problem, i don't know if i have to connect A PAIR of jacks on the back pannel to get a correct output or if one connection is enough ... it's pretty confusing, but could anybody help me out with this please?

Your best option is to buy some of these

I am pretty sure your card has unbalanced outputs, so you just need to work out which is your left and right channels. Then plug one of these in each jack then run RCA wires to your stereo or mixer.

It seems to me that we have A LOT of "how do I hook up my soundcard" and "how do I cue" questions at the moment. How about doing an articel on the issue? Or maybe just a sticky?

We have plans for making answers like these, we are currently working out the best approach - the Cue question isn't the only one to be answered multiple times. I am thinking more along the lines of a FAQ that links to different posts that answers the different frequently asked questions.
