We also have the following variations:

'Patatje met' -> 'Fries/chips with':
The basic Fries with Mayo.
'Patatje oorlog' -> 'Fries/chips war':
Fries with mayo, sate sauce and optional shortcut onions.
'Patatje kern oorlog' -> 'Fries/chips nuclear war':
Fries with mayo, sate sauce, ketchup/curry sauce and shortcut onions.
'Patatje speciaal' -> 'Fries/chips special':
Fries with mayo and ketchup/curry sauce and optional shortcut onions.
'Patatje Pinda' -> 'Fries/chips peanut':
Fries with sate sauce.

And also many other sauce combinations (BBQ sauce, CHili sauce, tobasco etc etc.) are possible.

So don't f@ck with our PATAT! (And don't get me started with Frikandellen too!)

We have made several fries pizza.

I felt I needed to bring up the most amazing pizza shop around here. I have to say that Subs and Pizza go hand in hand around these parts, and so I don't often go out for pizza (because I like making it at home) but I will go out for subs.

A two-foot long Chicken Parm sub smothered with French Fries and Mozzarella Sticks…
An eighteen inch pizza topped with Baked Ziti…
A deep fried Cheesesteak…

The Fat Chicken starts with a row of Mozzarella Sticks…
Then it gets about a dozen Chicken Fingers…
Followed by a large order of Fries.
After some generous handfuls of cheese…
And a few minutes in the oven…
It’s finished with homemade Tomato Sauce…

PS I love POUTINE :P (Family in northern vermont, so it's a staple going across the border).
