    Default What I learned yesterday:

Last night I was playing a house party for a Persian family- grad celebration- for people who thought i was persian. So they were requesting songs... in Irani (if that's the correct terminology for the language) lol I'm hispanic. then others asked for electro. couldn't make anyone happy... entirely.

    Lesson-
    1. I need a booth. Barrier from the humans. haha
    2. Clipboard and pen for song requests, so I dont have to talk.
    3. Where a sombrero so people know I speak spanish.

The language is Farsi. Dude, persian gigs are hard. I learned my lesson years ago as a very young dj, when the booth was taken over by a 60 year old Iranian with a single janky tape deck, LOL!! I ended up dancing all night and learned that doing your homework is mucho importante.

some people enjoy ipod djing, others like to hear actual mixing, others would prefer listening to scratching with vinyls for hours at a time..
