spec wise you're ok, but using the internal card for sound might have something to do with it...
what have you got power management profile set to? also have disabled things like wifi and webcam when using traktor?

I had a toshiba laptop, with a similar problem.
Not too sure what the actual problem was, i just swapped it back and got a macbook.
Try booting into safe mode and then running traktor. Same problem still? If so,try updating drivers for any hardware installed.. If not, it's probably some 3rd party software. Could be: antivirus/firewall but could also seem completely unrelated
This sounds very much like the famous midi out hang bug that happens under windows, and which has affected alot of us.
