Thread: My 5yr old...

    Default My 5yr old...

I debated whether or not to post this, but since it's already on YouTube, I figured it's fair game.

This was shot last September (2009) on his 5th birthday.

For fear of being labeled a "Stage Parent" I've limited my involvement in his learning to only correcting the obvious mistakes (not scratching with your hand too close to the center, needle care, etc...)

most of what he's learned, he learned from YouTube, watching videos of Q and Mixmaster Mike.

    Enjoy!

When we all make music, the God Spirit travels out of our bodies and we become one with each other. And for just a second, there is no war, greed, or hate in the world, just music, the celebration of life. (and usually a party, which is good too!)

    thanks photojojo....

I forgot to comment that nathan was essentially taught by the community since his favorites include The 45 King, Kentaro, C2C, and the like. My influence was really giving him full access to large collection of records. Since he was 4, his favorite movies include Scratch The Movie, and Planet B-Boy. He also uses a DVS system, but we'll save that for later since everyone is still reeling from the Qbert DVS video.
