Truth is, that I've had my 1200s sitting in their travel cases for 3 years due to moving and lack of a proper setup space for them. Seeing the move to controllers and such has given me motivation to maybe consider selling my current gear (1200s/DJM3000/Serato SL) to try something smaller and less space dependent (VCI 100SE or a S4).

Im not quite sure what style I prefer as ive only started little over half a year ago, but I think its techno / electro / club -ish. Ive started on the Hercules Steel after wanting to be a DJ for years and years, but never having the money to start off. Then I heard of this 'dj console' thingy, and ppl said I could start already for just like 200euro! So I gave that thing a little go, and oh my, do I love it Now this week I'm trying my best to up my game a bit, and swapped to Traktor. Sure is hella different, specialy as I had VDJ skinned to look exactly like my console.. Also bought an LPD8 to help me with loops / effect / samples, so now Im struggling to map that whyle learning Traktor from scrap..
Anyways, this forum has been beyond super helpful, and I hope I can be a valuable input to this community someday.
So a bit more info then mandatory, but i felt compelled to introduce myself a bit more then just that 1-2-3

I try to mix it up in my sets to include a range of genres and merge them into a really tribal and classic house sort of sound. I draw my musical inspiration from the Euro dance scene and artists the likes of Marco Carola, Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin to name a few. Ive spun wax, plastic and hit the digital side of things too and unlike a lot of DJ's I know, I embrace technology and everything it can offer :P

ps Id like to take this chance to officially say that Magda is hot If you dont know who she is.. google my friends.. google!
