The name is Alex, living just outside of Toronto in Brampton, Ontario.

I'm 22, been playing one instrument or another since I was 5. Fell into the EDM scene like so many others with my first listen of Justice' "cross" album. Loving it all ever since!

Just received my S4 and Midifighter in the mail the other day. LOVING everything about them!

    Let the mixing begin!

My Name's Ian Phillips-McLaren, worked as Ian Phillips / I never ever did get the "DJ name" thing.

I started Dj'ing in 1975 ( I know - old bugger ), I used to work as a club Dj, I also did some radio and guest spots in other clubs and also fashion stores.

I remember when mixing first started, it was really exciting, and there were only a handful of us that could do it properly. All we had was two decks and a mixer.

I remember mixing funk back in the day, then rap and hip hop, then came house, acid house and so on. I remember only having 6 house tracks because there weren't enough house tracks on the market to do a whole night and having the job of trying to introduce them into a funk set.

I'm a photographer for my sins and have only recently bought a VCI 100 to have some fun.

Sorry, that was more of a life history lol.

OH! and I have TINNITUS  from years of having fun DJ'ing

( just thought I'd share that with you )

I used to be based in Glasgow, Scotland but now in sunny London.
