Hi gang, British type here been spinning since '94.

1: No official DJ name as such, most people call me Beau Selecta though on account of my first name. Used to call myself DJ Blitz back in the 90's rave scene until I realised it sounded very 80's.
2: East Coast of Lincolnshire, England. Party central. No, really.
3: I play whatever the hell people tell me to play. Within reason, obviously. For preference it's anything that can be accurately described as "bangin!". Reality is often different though. I have no set taste or genre that I nail my colours to, all music can be playable.

Sup everybody. Been looking around this website for a while now and finally decided to register. Brought a MBP last year when I decided music is something I wanna do. Been producing for about a year on it with Ableton and Maschine. Recently decided DJ'ing is something I want to venture into after attending Detroit's Movement Festival in May. Really got inspired seeing those guys.

Still consider myself pretty much everything and I'm constantly seeking new knowledge. Hopefully with the help of this forum and you guys I will continue to get better at Producing as well as DJ'ing.

I've been here for a while now (and written an article that was published on the site), but I haven't introduced myself, so.....

1. My DJ name is Sigma, a name I've been using since I first used an online message board many years ago. I regularly get confused for one of the more well-known Sigmas (particularly those D&B guys), but I ain't changing my name now! I had it first anyway.

2. I'm from the West Midlands in the UK.

3. I've been DJing on and off (mostly off) since the mid-80s. My favourite styles of music are hip-hop (particularly old school and golden age), electro (the original stuff, not electro house), progressive/instrumental rock, R&B, soul and 80s pop, although I like some music from all genres.
