Hi guys; I'm new to the forum and digital DJing in general. I'm a rehabbing vinyl junkie, and after playing with traktor for about 2 hours a couple nights ago, without a controller, no less, I've decided to take the plunge and get an arcade edition vci-100 ASAP.

I like my music hard and dark, and I'm not afraid to cross genres to get what I want. Darkstep, techstep, breakcore, psytrance, psytekk, gabber, digital hardcore, industrial, aggrotech, techno, and even a bit of dubstep (but only the dirtiest) - I want to make my audience feel like they're living in William Gibson's darkest nightmares.

I live in West Oakland, CA, and I love it. Warehouses, grime, industrial machines, cargo containers, and freight trains are all the perfect canvas for me to paint my world, both aurally and visually.

Plug in, turn on, and rock the fuck out.

i be the pirate, arrgh
i mainly play a small bit of everything to keep myself content on me long voyages at sea. i do mostly be listening to house and electro these days

i bought myself my first digital mixer recently so that i might do the midi / laptop thing and save power on the generator on my pirate ship
my scallywag deckhands are also sick of carting my record boxes and technics from port to port so they be happy with my investment too!
Going to ditch my rusty old FS1.5 too and plunder a serato and maybe TSP to a smaller extent
