Sorry guys, but if this talk keeps going on about torrents/trackers or other illegal sites that offer MP3s, I have to close down shop.

DJTT does not endorse 'not so legal'- infrastructure to get your tracks.

My digging is fairly simple. I get my music from:

    1) My beatport artists and labels I have favourited
    2) Top tracks for my genres in beatport
    3) Currently 3 podcasts I listen to (find songs I like in the podcasts and just search it up on beatport)
    4) Random searching for artists/new daily releases/etc..

Pretty much everything is through beatport. I feel like it's enough as of now.

There are a couple of blogs that I have fallen in love with: Chemical Jump, Silence Is Boring, Turn Table Lab, and RCRD LBL

third vid down, zabiela talks about 'blind record shopping' interesting idea that i think i'm going to start using...

also some stuff about how he works.

first 2 vids are more 'echo feedback' whoring tips

I'm pretty fortunate to have decent contacts in the dnb scene... I just leave my AIM logged in, set to autoaccept and check my incoming folder every few days.

For other genres I usually download mixes from artists/djs I like and go through the tracklistings. Once I've found a few tunes I like, I'll go shopping on Beatport/iTunes/Juno/whatever.

I wanted to share a story about finding tracks but didnt think it deserved its own thread. Heard a banger in a club last night, no idea what it was or who it was by. About 20 minutes on the laptop cruising youtube etc. and I find it in beatport top 10 house, I literally creamed myself. Dont you just love it when you find a tune your looking for!

P.S for anyone that cares it was "We No Speak Americano" - what a tune.
