Once you've warped your tracks in Ableton, there's no stopping you. Workflow goes through the roof.

    MixMeister Fusion 7.4.3

    ps it was a "demo"

    Arrrr... (don't judge me)

Been playing with it all afternoon and think i'm gonna buy it mind.

It's a tinny bit confusing to get full control and i haven't worked out fx yet but for simply knocking mixes together it's a piece of piss

    Think I love it...

EDIT: Sort of worked out fx too now... this could be massive! I love mixing live but hate making mixes as is so vibeless but this allows you to sit and tweak like a production!!

Call it cheating (it sort of is) but i don't care. this is a whole new world of fun. It's not like it's doing mixes i couldn't do or anything but it's great to able to just slip a track back an extra 16 bars to see if works :-)

the summing algorithm of all DAWs is more or less the same, the plugins and how you use them is what sounds different

ableton really is the shit for mixing and mashing. By saying "it's not for me" you're really saying "ableton intimidates me"...

Just load up a bunch of loops in the clips, switch back and forth between them, and watch some YouTube videos. It's really not hard, just a little intimidating
And your statement clearly shows that you even haven't tried ACID or any other DAW. You are just repeating what they say at Ableton forum when they feel attacked cause someone told em that Ableton sound engine just doesn't cut it.

hey everyone, thank you for your posts. ive been mixing with traktor for about a year now. so i know what im doing music wise, i just want the work flow to make my own mash cd without the fear of live errors. plus ive been producing with reason for a solid 4 years and im so used to that type of work flow. but ill give ableton another chance. acid is really not what im looking for, its seams "too" simple and has some restrictions. thank you once again
