Seems Ableton don't want to be left out of the cheap upgrade offers, they are offering Lite or LE users really cheap full Live 8 upgrades.
What gives that companies are offering these cheap deals? Even Propellerhead gives free upgrades to Reason 5 if buy 4 today (OK, that's the way things should be...) Is there a panic out there that something new and wonderful is going to squash whatever we now use?

wait... for users with traktor lite or LE they're offering up cheap upgrades? or do you mean users with ableton intro?
EDIT: just read up on the ableton site. it was dumb of me to even ask this
. of course it's ableton lite
