    Default AV DJing

I would quite like to mess around with visuals in sets which looks pretty fun

Are there any other programs apart from serato visual software that would be capable of visualisations and music videos and one shot samples like a little clip from a film?

modul8 is sick. you can midi map it. and if you take some time to think about it you can midi map your play buttons in traktor to say burst of color in modul8 so it will correspond to what you are doing with your dj software.

yeah i think so. it just takes some time to get things rolling, but it's responsive to audio, and works on the photoshop mentality, you have layers, channels, and masks, you can make some really cool things with it.

but it's not like some other software that you have all of these prebaked things. you get complete creative control. you can also sequence your graphics.

it's only worth the 410 if you are really serious about it. and want to customize the experience as opposed to just tossing in a music video and fading with little bouncy effects.
