Default VCI-300 Owners Happy with your Product?

I have had a VCI-300 for a bit now, I am quite happy apart from the low sound that comes from the unit compared to cd's etc.
I don't use the balanced out and am wondering if it makes any difference?

Balanced does not effect output volume. It does effect quality. Assists with taking out noise.

Just got one a few days ago. Mapping it with Traktor and using it with an X1. I'm also a big fan of Itch. I really like the 300 and think its an awesome tool that can use to great applications. I'm diggin it big time.

Mapping, not so bad. Mapping LED's is horrible. There's a pretty decent mapping on this site and around the net from soulstec I think was the members name. It's a pretty good mapping, that I've been adjusting more for my playing. Honestly you can playout with just the 300 but it's hard to take advantage of all the effects because of the lack of knobs and buttons - and second controller and its awesome.

    I don't really use effects.
I might try to pick up a used one.

Thats what I did, got a sweet deal here on the forum. I really like Itch, but there's also a ton of things Traktor does thats hard to leave behind, so I wanted something I can use with both. It's working great. I have a few posts up about it. If you get one let me know - I should have the tsi done in a week or so. I think its an awesome piece of gear.
