Default Good Dj headphones under $100?

I've seen the product review articles and stuff. But I'm wondering what the best set of cans for under $100. I remembered Ean recommending some of the Sony Studio monitor headphones but I can't find where it was or which model?

Was thinking the Sony MDR -500 or 700's?

I know it makes more sense to spend the jack and just get some top quality, but I don't have the jack, I have Jenna, she's 4 months old and has a lot of my loot tied up in her well-being a long with her mom.

I think it was these, but I'm not sure.

I own these (HD 280 Pro) and they are great. They are way more comfortable than the MDR V700 DJ but not as loud. I have had my 280's for about 3 years and they still look and sound like they did the day I bought them.

I was wrong! It's the Sony MDR-7506, from this article.

I use these and they take a beating, are small enough that don't take up too much space and sound great.

I use Sennheiser HD 205 headphones. I bought them cos I got a deal through Amazon and picked them up for £14.99 (about $25-30) in the UK.

Only issue is they're a bit tight if wearing them for long, but i left them to stretch over a couple of books for a weekend and they're perfect now. Great bass, sound clarity, good external sound elimination and I'm constantly dropping them accidentally and not even a mark on them.

They usually retail in UK for about £35-55 (about $60-110), and I'd recommend them as good cheap headphones, just remember to stretch them for a bit!
Ableton 9.7.5, Native Instruments Komplete Ultimate 11, MOTU 828 Mk2, Nektar Impact LX61+, Ableton Push, Native Instruments Kore 2, and a random selection of soft synths and sample libraries.

I have senne 280 pros and have been using them for over 3 years now. They've been used in a commercial studio and have taken a real beating but still work great!
