My buddy was showing off his VJ rig to some clients the night before a party. He throws on some random EDM video and gets on a scissor lift to adjust the screen. He's about halfway up when some girls in the video get topless. The clients seemed ok with it, so he kept going up on the lift. By the time he reached the top, however, there was a hardcore gangbang scene going on. It took him 2 excruciating minutes to get back down and run over to turn his video feed off.

Can't remember what the video was... pretty awesome though. I suppose I could have figured out how to turn it off for him, but I was too busy laughing my ass off.
We later pointed out to the clients that no matter how offended they seemed, none of them actually left or even stopped watching the video, so all was forgiven.

Turned out that the band who was supposed to headline showed up hammered drunk and got fired 20 minutes into their set, so he ended up saving the party by spinning all night.

He managed to not drop any porn during his set.

I just had a gig at a festival this weekend that was just filled with Fails...

    - No crossover in the PA, so the sound was poor at best
    - Bad flow of energy... The guy before me was playing some great live world beat ethno trance, but perhaps a wee bit fast for a Chill stage at 145bpm
    - The three foot wide table made change over a real pain, and required several minutes of dead air
    - About a minute and a half into my set, the usb ports that my X1 and A8 were plugged into blew up

Those were the more general fails that weren't really my fault...

    Here's the Epic Personal Fail:

Near the end of my set, two tracks to go, I'm searching for the next track, and somehow I must have accidentally hit stop, cause the music dies. Ooops. Ok, just hit play again, we'll be allright... Again I hit a wrong button, and wind up loading a new track. Panic begins to creep up at this point... Ok, take a step back, breathe, relax, breathe damnit... just browse for the track, load it up and hit play... Yay, we have music again, good, right? No, not quite... Instead of loading the track I was just playing, I loaded one right next to it, which also happens to be one that I'd played 3 or 4 songs ago.... *sigh*

    FAIL.

i was recordin a set the other week and it was goin well, was comin to the crescendo of the mix and mid mix my little finger brushes the top of the jog wheel on my vci arcade while it was on scratch mode - trainwreck city. I just hit stop and gave up was fumin with myself.

Was playin a gig when i used to use my maschine controller to dj with i forgot to switch the page for the next deck and as i went to drop the next tune hit play and silence, realised what i'd done and rocked out the silence for 4 beats n threw the tune back on just glad it was dark to hide my red face
