Default So my Mackie I ordered from Guitarcenter is on backorder...how long does that last?

Ordered this on a sale yesterday (Sunday):

    http://www.guitarcenter.com/Mackie-T...45-i1512407.gc

was extremely looking forward to it but they said it was on backorder. Was not worried since I saved $100 on my whole purchase and i thought I would just wait it out. Yesterday it said it would be available "6/21/10"....AKA TODAY. Now it reads "6/28/10".....WHAT?!?!?!?!

Can someone explain this to me? Or should I just call Mackie later until I get a response?

    Thanks

    -Gianmarco

That link doesnt show the item.

Id say you will get no joy from Mackie. It looks like typical Store tactics , selling stuff they are waiting for.

This is the problem with Back Order items. They can go back and forth.

All you can do is sit it out.

This is common. It happens all the time.

All you can do it contact Mackie Support and ask for an E.T.A and keep phoning Guitar Centre.

Items can go on back and forth on back order for months.

If you cant get your money back you will just have to sit it out.

don't misunderstand. just saying you want your money back should motivate them to get you your gear ASAP. use the words "misinformed" and "disappointed" a lot and call them three times a day, give them a deadline, just be demanding

    but always stay polite.

The problem 'may' lay with Mackie.
If Mackie just cannot supply the item yet there is nothing that Guitar Centre can do.

But yeah you need to politely press them constantly.

Maybe check the Mackie forum (?) to see if people are having the same issue.
