I thought Amsterdam was expensive at Easter but a great place. Just gotta stay out of the tourist bars where its 9 euros for a a Beer !!!
Most I've paid was 6, you really gotta tell me where you paid 9...
Next time you go to Amsterdam let me give you some tips, I live there, there are some nice places where a beer definitely isn't 9 euros!

Lol yeah it was on Dam Square we paid 17 euros for 2 beers... It was late and we were pissed so we just stopped anywhere...

I really liked a small bar called Lime. Very small but funky and run by a couple of Chinese guys...

I have a friend in AMS so we were visiting him and doing the whole tourist thing.
Great place, in fact i was amazed at the place... Thankfully there wasnt many English people around when we went...Seriously, i hate my fellow country men abroad... Me and my girlfriend are definitely going back next year.

    Sorry for the OT Mods...

Triple, no Quadruple check that fader fx is TOTALLY 100% off before you try to mix and then wonder where volume went and why it sounds weird

I still don't understand the effect fully, could someone elaborate to me? I'm quite new to DJ'ing so not familiar with everything!

If you enable key lock (the musical note symbol next to the waveform) it will make the song sound the same regardless of how much you speed it up or slow it down. The more you speed it up or slow it down though the more the quality is sacrificed.

So what's the point of this effect? I mean, what is it's practical use?

To keep the song in key even when you speed it up or slow it down. Play around with it and I think you'll get a better idea.

Finally got around to buckling down and learning how to make my own mapping for Traktor Pro. After only a day, I've already got the first version of my Trigger Finger mapping done.

... that when you speed a song up it doesnt sound like Mickey Mouse.

... that when you slow a song down it doesnt sound like a 'boom-box' when the batteries are about to die.
