    Default Bought used vci-100 again!

As i needed a good backup controller i bought a used vci-100 and after getting the unit this morning its not it good looking condition, it works well but its a bit batterd and deffo needs a overlay but the main problem is the bottom of it was a bit bent, and after i updated firmware to 1,3 it took ages to put the lid back on and only some chasis bending got it back, seems like last owner must have dropped it or whatever.

Apart from that it was £180 well spent and i wil use it this sat as its a mostly house gig and i can see if the sound is better than the vci-300 which i feel it will be!

One other thing, how do i get the knobs off the 100?are they glued on and will i need pliers to get em off?they are worn and i will replace em.

That's a smokin deal even with the chassis damage.

I was just able to pull my knobs off with my hands, but I've heard of others having trouble. You can gently pry them up with a small screwdriver.

Once somoen talked about using dental floss to get them out. I guess you need to put it just beneath them or something.
