    Default New Pioneer CDJ-850 Announced

    Searched the forum but I may have failed, we shall see!

    But anyways Pioneer have announced a new CDJ, the 850 with HID control, looks to be just an updated 800 mk2 whats everyone think?

    they are the club standard, and I can see clubs buying the 850's over the 900's and mos def over the 2000. Most dj's will feel more comfortable moving up to the 850's

    what a monstrously large hunk of crap.

    seriously, Technics took the right road. keep the product line simple. "we serve the good shit, and the premium shit. take a pick"

    Pioneer on the other hand has been burping out the most ridiculously expensive, redundant and thoughtless shit. Isn't the CDJ-350 like $800?, why the hell wouldn't I just buy a used CDJ-1000 MK3 at that price (yes, they sell at that price). And the CDJ-850 like Gianmarco said isn't that far behind the CDJ-900. Why bother with the CDJ-850, you're already blowing that much money anyway, get the nice one for a little more.

    This isn't the first time they released something pointless. Anyone here remember the elusive DMP-555?

    thats why i bought a pair cdj-800 mk1 for 500.00, i dont need a fancy cdj-850. If I use them, its going to be with DVS or straight cds.
