    Default Mixing in key

I use Mixed in Key to help ID most songs. Is there a way to manually do it thou? I know sometimes MIK gets it wrong and I have not trained myself yet to do only by ear. Are there any good exercises I can do? Also are there any other exercises I could try. I'm getting fairly decent at beat counting and phrase matching. Any thoughts would be great thanks.

Get a keyboard out and try to find the root note. Only way to do it manually if you don't have the trained ear for it
