Not hating on the idea per se, although I'd rather currently troubleshoot a USB lead than a dropped wireless collection... more on the idea of taking that plastic box out into a heaving crowd and mixing with jogs on it like it was a keytar or something....

I agree that wireless may be the future, but the tech isn't there yet. What a lot of people don't realize is that most wireless tech, except N, is half duplex, so it's not really 54Mbits on your G router, it's half of that. Then you need to add on overhead, so best case scenario is about 23Mbits. I also think that even with N you would have latency problems because of: 1) N works by using multiple signal paths that it sequences at the router/switch and 2) you still have overhead due to packet headers and all that other fun stuff...just seems like a latency nightmare!

I'm not saying that people will use wireless audio interface... I really think that audio connections should be with the fastest and most realiable cables.
But when you have two korg nanokontrol, one maudio oxygen 8 v2 and wishes to buy a stanton scs3 system you really start to think about wireless midi controllers...
One reason is because of the damn wires, and the other is because the limited numbers of USB connections

It's a joke right? They can do that? Steal the names and act like a Chinese product factory?
ACT like a Chinese product factory? They ARE a Chinese product factory (or they buy OEM products from them). And while we're talking lets look at that mixer.

What kind of marketing twist is it to sell the cheap knockoff for more than the real deal?
