    Default A bit of inspiration - Tom Cosm

    Hey guys just shooting yas some interesting youtube clips made by a guy called Tom Cosm. He has a pretty interesting live setup that i think alot of you Ableton heads would be interested in checking out. Tom has done some vid clips explaining his setup which are a pretty good watch - so check em out !

    Yes he is a producer, but there are alot of techniques that he uses that can be used djs too

    He lives in the same town in New Zealand as I. I've seen him live a few times and he is pretty amazing.

    NZ is a small place and Ive never heard of him! Interesting videos though..
    wonder if he wants to play one of those d&b sets at the tron....

    Tom Cosm is pretty cool. Nice live setup. His website is pretty cool. Some decent basic tutorials, nicely explained. Would be cool to see some more in depth stuff on there.

    I spin pretty synthy stuff, lots of bloghouse remixes, MGMT remixes, Lo Fi Fnk, Fred Falke, Daft Punk, Justice and Holy Ghost! etc. It's great, a bit different, but everyone loves a good synthline with good vocals. The 80's stuff fits in with it well i.e Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, aha. It can be a bit challenging to mix. I use an X-Session pro and (this is for Tekki) a BCR2000 for eqing and fx. Can't wait to get a VCI though! Good to see NZ is repping on here well.
