    Default Removing knobs?

I am working on my LED Mod for my vci-100 and have encountered a problem: I cant get the knobs of, so how do you remove the knob-caps (not fader caps)?

I guess it is necesary to remove the knobs to get the main print of, to get to the LEDs on the top half on the controller. Correct me if i'm wrong.

    Any ideas are much apreciated.

Someone had recommended using dental floss to pull them off...maybe that will work.

Just pull gentle without fear, thats how I did it. They feel like there stuck but there not. Just have to feel comfortable about removing such knobs.

Dental floss is for the fader caps, right? It is not possible to get dental floss underneath the knobs.

I have tried pulling them as hard as i can, but they dont come of!

@Bento: You said that yours were glued on. Then how did you get them of?

You can get it under the knobs if you use a small skrew driver to stuff it under them, if that gets annoying then pry them off with a couple skrewdrivers - but be really careful your dont scratch the unit or the knobs.

Ok - after a one hour battle, the dental floss prevaled! My knobs were glued on as well so it took some serious power-pulling and 4 layers of floss!
